Established in 2008, Beijing Zhongshi Dongsheng Culture & Media Co Ltd is an integrated enterprise in the culture and media industry, with registered capital of 50 million yuan ($7.83 million). The company invested 1 billion yuan to build the media industry park which covers an area of 100,000 square meters, with overall floorage of 300,000 sq m. The park runs from Chaoyang Avenue in the north, to the Beijing-Tongzhou district expressway in the south, lies adjacent to the Fifth Ring in the east, and borders Xinglong Park in the west.

The park is divided into five functional areas, namely creative enterprises incubation, media talents cultivation, TV programs production, post-production of 3D movies, and brand promotion and transmission. It has attracted about 100 culture and media enterprises and organizations including the Communication University of China (UCU) and the Travel Channel. Aiming to make a multi-industry cluster, the park intends to set up an industrial chain covering creativity, production, operation and circulation.

The company was designated as a “national culture industry demonstration base” in late 2014. Over the next five years, the park will speed up R & D and breakthrough in its key chain links, so as to become an intelligent, green and low-carbon park, in a core functional area in Beijing and China.
