With an investment of 800 million yuan ($125 million), the industry park will be composed of film and television commercial buildings, office buildings and film studios.

Located in the north of the “Country Gateway” business area in the Shunyi district of Beijing, the industry park is adjacent to the airport economic zone, and covers an area of 78,000 square meters.

Through expansion and reconstruction of the original buildings, the industry park will have an overall floorage of 251,000 sq m, with 195,000 sq m above ground and 46,000 sq m below ground.

Specifically, the No 1 and 2 areas will consist of several film studios and complex buildings for video production and shooting, storage, technology R&D and office work, with 170,000 sq m above ground and 36,000 sq m below.

The Dewei Film Television Cultural Creative Industry Park

The 120,000-sq-m No 1 area will be the film and television headquarters, focusing on office work, post production, and film and television products exhibition and release. The 50,000-sq-m No 2 area will be made up of 10 to 16 film studios.

The No 3 area will contain the cultural creative industry incubation base and three to four dormitories, with 35,000 sq m above ground and 10,000 sq m below.

The project started in June, and will be finished by the end of 2016.
