China (Pinggu) International Music Industry Base
As an important cultural creative industry cluster in Beijing, the China (Pinggu) International Music Industry Base, or the China Music Valley, is the largest violin production center in China, with an annual output of about 250,000 violins, accounting for nearly one third of the world’s total annual output.
The international music festival in the China Music Valley
With perfect outdoor performance facilities, the China Music Valley held the International Music Festival for five successive years, with the participation of some well-known singers such as Avril Lavigne and Joss Stone. Altogether, China Music Valley has attracted about 300,000 audience members.
Since 2010, a series of key projects have been completed, including the exhibition center, the Grassland Park, the music instrument R&D and production center and the artists’ studios.
The Grassland Park
China Music Valley will focus on three tasks. First, to exploit key locations for music training, instrument R&D and production, and enterprise incubation; second, to make a music instrument town featuring violin, piano and online trade; third, to ensure continuous performances in the Music Valley.
