The Zhongjian Art Zone is located at the foot of Xishan Mountain in Beijing’s Haidian district and to the west of Xishan Cultural and Creative Avenue, with an area of 60,000 square meters.

The Zone is one of the largest high-quality cultural creative industry complexes in west Beijing. With an investment of 5.8 billion yuan ($906.25 million), the cultural venues and affiliated facilities in the Zhongjian Art Zone include an art gallery, a theater, a cinema, a multi-functional concert hall, a culture and art square, and workshops for artists.

It will develop into a new cultural and art landmark, focusing on international exchange and independent production of high-quality plays. It will also develop cultural services to improve public artistic appreciation, attract high-tech enterprises to establish cultural creative industry clusters, and build a boutique industrial park with well-equipped facilities and good services.
