A delegation led by the Bulgarian ambassador to China visited the State-owned Cultural Assets Supervision and Administration Office of Beijing (SOCASAO) on June 13.

Zhou Maofei, head of the office, welcomed the delegation. He briefly introduced the office's responsibilities, the development of Beijing's cultural creative industries and the capital's policies and measures in promoting them.

Bulgaria’s unique geographical advantage makes it a channel for Chinese enterprises' cooperation with the EU, Russia and the Middle-East, according to Plamen Shukyurliev, the ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in Beijing. He added that cultural creative industry is booming in Bulgaria at this time and offers a promising prospective for Chinese-Bulgarian cultural creative industries cooperation.
