Beijing Publishing House Group (BPHG) attended the 23rd Beijing International Book Exhibition on August 24. Liu Yunshan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, visited the BPHG exhibition and learned about their publications.

One series published by BJPG has more than 100 categories of books and a sales volume of more than one million copies. Liu spoke highly of these books and said that they have good social impact. He also required that BJPG publish more theme books in the future.

Liu learned about basic conditions of the October Literature Academy, and recognized the academy’s effort in providing more good literature to the public. Liu spoke highly of October Arts Publishing House’s work in promoting literary works by writers born in the 1970s and 1980s and by other authors from around the world.
