A Beijing cultural temple fair and a cultural creativity promotion fair opened as parts of the week.

The cultural temple fair received 12,500 local visitors in the first five days, producing income of 15,000 Canadian dollars. More than 2,000 Canadian residents joined intangible cultural heritage interaction activities. The event offered unique Beijing flavors, including Wuyutai, Huguosi snacks, and jellied bean curd, as well as an intangible cultural heritage exhibition, all of which were loved by the locals. The Canadian guests at the fair learned a lot about Chinese culture through delicious food and traditional handicrafts.

A cultural creativity promotion fair was held on October 6. The State-owned Cultural Assets Supervision and Administration Office (SOCASAO) and the Canadian Ministry of Cultural Heritage outlined cultural creativity development in the two countries. Cultural creative enterprises in China and Canada introduced themselves at the fair, and agreed to enhance cooperation with each other in the future.
