A delegation from Copenhagen, Denmark, visited the Beijing State-owned Cultural Assets Supervision and Administration Office (SOCASAO) on April 10.

The delegation was from the Center for Growth, Internationalization and Citizenship Services and the Center for Digitalization and Innovation of the Culture and Leisure Administration of Copenhagen.

The delegation conducted informal discussions with SOCASAO. Representatives of cultural and creative institutions such as the Beijing Animation and Game Industry Association, Beijing Gehua Culture Development Group, and CCTV Animation participated in the meeting.

Guo Xiaoming, inspector of SOCASAO, welcomed the delegation from Copenhagen and reviewed the exchanges and cooperation between SOCASAO and Copenhagen in cultural and creative fields in the past two years. He spoke highly of Copenhagen for being the guest city of the 2018 Beijing International Design Week.

The delegation introduced the activities of the 2018 Beijing International Design Week's guest city events, including the theme of “Living is Giving” and the concept of activities. They said that Copenhagen will take this as a starting point for cooperation in the cultural and creative industry between Copenhagen and Beijing.

The Copenhagen delegation and the participating Beijing cultural and creative institutions discussed the opportunities for cooperation between the two cities in the areas of film and television and animation games.

SOCASAO and the Copenhagen representatives agreed that during the 2018 Beijing International Design Week they would invite and organize cultural and entrepreneurial enterprises in the two cities to carry out face-to-face communication in Beijing, and promote cooperation on projects.
