Cultural tourism industries summit held in Beijing

The 92nd Beijing Culture Industry Investment and Financing Salon -- as well a summit on cultural tourism industries -- was successfully staged in Daxing district, Beijing, according to the organizers.

The event, which was held on Aug 28, attracted over 300 representatives from the government, investment institutions, cultural enterprises and the media to participate.

The summit -- co-sponsored by Daxing district government, the State-owned Cultural Assets Supervision and Administration Office (SOCASAO) of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, China Tourism Academy and the Bank of Beijing -- discussed the development of the new cultural and tourism industry in the era of the airport economy.

At the summit, an alliance for the airport economy and cultural tourism industries integration development was established.

The event also witnessed the signing of a strategic cooperation contract by the Daxing district bureau of culture and tourism and the Daxing sub-branch of the Bank of Beijing. Plans for the airport economic zone in Daxing district was also unveiled and displayed by local officials for attendees to examine.

Organizers of the summit also invited a number of experts to give speeches and exchange their views with attendees on various topics.

These included new opportunities for the development of cultural tourism in the airport economy era, a new model for the integration of culture and tourism and a new model for the new airport in Daxing and the airport economy.
