The third Belt and Road Forum for Development in Trade in Services, held by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, wrapped up on Sept 7 at the National Convention Center in Beijing.
Zhang Shenfeng, vice director of the CCPIT, delivered a keynote speech at the event, saying the forum seeks to guarantee high-quality development of trade in service in countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative and set up an international platform for the sector.
"In the post-pandemic time, we should make joint efforts to improve the international business environment which can be favorable for collaborations between countries in trade in services," he said.
The branch of culture and tourism under the China Association of Trade in Services was also launched at the event, aiming to better integrate cultural and tourism resources in China, improve the level of cultural and tourism services as well as promote international exchanges in the field.
