Beijing International E-sports Innovation and Development Conference held in Shougang Park, Shijingshan district
As the core brand event of "e-sports Beijing 2021", the Beijing International E-sports Innovation and Development Conference was held in Shougang Park, Shijingshan district on Oct 22.
Leaders and guests from national ministries and commissions, relevant Beijing authorities, e-sports industry associations, leading companies, universities and research institutions gathered to conduct in-depth discussions on promoting the healthy and high-quality development of Beijing's e-sports industry.
Zhou Xiaobo, State Press and Publication Administration, Zhao Weidong, Executive Deputy Minister of the Publicity Department of the Beijing Municipal Committee, Liu Shaojian, Secretary and Director of the Beijing State-owned Cultural Assets Management Center, Yin Yuan, Deputy District Governor of Shijingshan District People's Government, and Wei Jizhong, Vice Chairman of the Global E-Sports Federation Experts and the leaders of major companies in the e-sports field attended the conference.
The conference was guided by the Beijing Municipal Party Committee Publicity Department, hosted by the State-owned Cultural Assets Administration Center (SOCAAC) of Beijing Municipality, supported by the Shijingshan District Committee Publicity Department and Shougang Park.
From Oct 22 to 23, the conference focused on three major activity sections - athemed forum, e-sports market, and e-sports tour.
As an important part of the conference, the theme forum held four parallel sub-forums, with keynote speeches, key releases, project signings, roundtable forums, and discussions and exchanges on hot topics in the e-sports industry.
On Oct 22, the e-sports market, another important component of the conference, was also opened in Shougang Park. Senior practitioners in the e-sports industry from Tencent, Netease, Perfect World, Baidu, Huya, Huaao E-sports, JD JDG, "e-sports" magazines and other institutions talked with university teachers, student representatives, and companies interested in entering the e-sports industry .
On Oct 23, the e-sports tour event invited business representatives and media reporters to form an inspection group to conduct field investigations in related industrial parks and consumer scenes in Beijing.
