Revenue of cultural and related industries enterprises above designated size increased by 21.8 percent in the first three quarters
The National Bureau of Statistics released a quarterly report on the production and operation of cultural and related industries above designated size. According to a survey of 64,000 cultural and related industrial enterprises above designated size across the country, in the first three quarters, the above-mentioned enterprises achieved an operating income of 8.42 billion yuan, which was calculated on a comparable basis, an increase of 21.8 percent over the same period of the previous year and an average increase of 10.0 percent over the last two years.
Zhang Peng, a senior statistician at the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities of the National Bureau of Statistics, explained that cultural enterprises continued to develop well and their operating income maintained double-digit growth. Zhang pointed out that since the beginning of this year, although the development of the country's cultural enterprises has been affected by factors such as the superimposition of epidemics and floods in some areas, policies and measures to help enterprises have been implemented effectively. The country's cultural and related industries have maintained rapid growth and the foundation for recovery has been consolidated. In the first three quarters, cultural and related industry enterprises above designated size achieved an operating income of 8.42 billion yuan.
Zhang predicts that in the next stage, with the overall advancement of epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development, the central and local governments will accurately implement relief policies that benefit cultural enterprises, the development environment of the cultural market will continue to be optimized, and the supply of cultural products and services will continue to be enriched.
