The Malay version of the work "Muslim's Funeral", which won the Mao Dun Literature Prize (one of China's most prestigious literary prizes), was officially published in Malaysia recently. This book is published by Beijing October Literature and Art Publishing House of Beijing Publishing Group, which is a member of the State-owned Cultural Assets Administration Center (SOCAAC). It has sold more than 4 million copies so far.

The Malay version was introduced by the Malaysian Han Cultural Center in 2017. It is the second Mao Dun Literature Prize work introduced to Malaysia after the "Ordinary World". Its official publication will further lead Chinese contemporary literature into the mainstream market in Malaysia and promote Chinese culture.

In addition, with the support and approval of the Ministry of Education of Malaysia, the "Contemporary Chinese Literature Reading Club" jointly organized by the Chinese Writers Association and the Malaysian Chinese Literature Readers Club was held in Malaysia on Nov 13, 2021 in Malaysia.

News anchors, Chinese teachers and senior magazine editors from Malaysia led readers to share in-depth thoughts after reading the Malay version of "Muslim's Funeral".
