On Sept 15, the "E-sports Beijing 2022" Urban Challenge-End Game Finals was held in Beijing Beigao No. 1 International Art District. It was hosted by the Beijing State-owned Cultural Assets Administration Center (SOCAAC) and supported by the Beijing Time-honored Brand Association.
Wu Xijun, director of the Planning and Development Office (Industry Promotion Office) of the Beijing SOCAAC, and Liu Bo, chairman of the Cultural Innovation Committee of the Beijing Time-honored Brand Association, attended the event.
Beijing's time-honored enterprises such as Dongya Chun, Fuquan Pavilion, Yushiyuan, and Shuanghesheng were the four participating teams. They aim to supply high-quality talents for Beijing's e-sports industry through various events. The challenge will open up the market, enhance its influence, and further promote the high-quality development of Beijing's e-sports industry.
The game was broadcast live on the Douyu platform (a major livestreaming platform for gaming), and the page views reached 975,000.

According to the latest global e-sports market report released by NewZoo, a third-party organization, the number of global e-sports users has reached 495 million, and China's e-sports market revenue accounts for more than one-third of global revenue, surpassing North America to become the world's largest e-sports market.
