Paintings and sculptures are on display at Painting New Time, Praising New Chapter, an exhibition running through Nov 10 at the 798 International Art Exchange Center.
The works fall into three sections to share a panoramic view of China's development and accomplishments over the last decade.
Part one zooms in on major projects and events, including the design and construction of Xiong'an New Area in Hebei province, the launch of the Tiangong-1 lab and the upgrading of old industrial areas.
Part two is a depiction of people at the grassroots level whose work has enriched both urban landscapes and countryside scenery.
The third part presents people's anticipations for future development. The exhibition is also the themed show of the ongoing Beijing 798 Art Festival.
