The 74th Frankfurt Book Fair in 2022 will be held in Germany on Oct 19-23. More than 30 works of the Chinese writer Xuemo will be exhibited in the booth of the China International Book Trading Corporation (CIBTC), and copyright exchanges and cooperation with publishers and institutions around the world will be carried out.

The Frankfurt Book Fair is the world's largest and most important book trade center, a grand gathering of the world's book industry, and known as the "world cultural vane".

Xue's works have appeared at the Frankfurt Book Fair, London Book Fair, American Book Fair and other global book fairs, setting an example for showcasing contemporary Chinese literature abroad.

His novels are largely based in west China's Gansu province. He writes about the power, ruthlessness and beauty of this desert region, introducing it to the English-speaking world.

Xue's works have been translated into more than 20 foreign languages, including English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Italian, Swedish, Nepali, Hindi, and Arabic.
