Intangible cultural heritage event set to kick off in Beijing
The first Beijing International Week of Intangible Cultural Heritage will be held during Oct 22-25.
The event is co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Beijing government.
To date, more than 2,000 works from nearly 20 countries have signed up to participate in the event.
Approximately 150 representatives from the intangible cultural heritage field will be invited to engage in intangible cultural heritage dialogues.
The event aims to establish an important platform for international exchange and cooperation in intangible cultural heritage, promote the global dissemination of Chinese culture, deepen cross-cultural exchanges and mutual learning, and advance the development of intangible cultural heritage worldwide.
